new elections held in year of 1993 , pakistan peoples party (ppp), under benazir bhutto, returned power third time. sharif conceded defeat , offered full co-operation leader of opposition ppp , pml-n again came @ loggerheads in parliament. benazir s government found difficult act in face of opposition sharif. benazir bhutto faced problems younger brother, murtaza bhutto, in stronghold, sindh province.


sharif joined benazir s younger brother murtaza bhutto , formed political axis worked tirelessly undermine benazir bhutto s government , tapped anti-corruption wave in entire pakistan. nawaz-bhutto axis targeted benazir bhutto s government corruption in major state corporations , blamed benazir s government slowing down economic progress. in 1994 1995, sharif murtaza bhutto began train march , phenomenon founded zulfikar ali bhutto, taking them karachi peshawar during huge crowds listened critical speeches. sharif played major part in organising labour , industrial strikes throughout pakistan in september , october 1994. following controversial death of murtaza bhutto in 1996, amid protests , spontaneous demonstrations in sindh province had led benazir s government losing control of province. 1996, benazir bhutto had become unpopular, in entire pakistan, because of high levels of government corruption , alleged involvement of spouse role in younger brother s death led ouster in october 1996.
