having played on several different grounds after formation in 1920, in 1947 club moved fenland park, former orchard in walsoken. @ start of 1957–58 season, fenland park s record attendance of 8,044 set on 25 august 1957 match against local rivals peterborough united.


in 2000s club began make plans new stadium. in march 2008 planning permission granted borough council build new ground on 9-acre (36,000 m) site on northern outskirts of town. in september 2008 club left fenland park, , started playing @ outwell swift s nest ground after installing seated stand, floodlights , terracing. construction began on new ground in january 2010, first match, 5–0 win on st andrews in fa cup extra-preliminary round, taking place on 14 august 2010.
