in 2017, set pm4 refurbished, renumbered set pm1504. refurbishment changes include replacing traction control equipment sic-vvvf equipment, changing single-arm pantograph, tinted passenger windows, full-colour led destination indicators, , replacement of former transverse seating longitudinal bench seating. interior , exterior design refurbished trainsets overseen industrial design company don design associates. first refurbished trainset scheduled return service on 27 april 2017.
