vdc (voris dixon company): 1983-late 1984
free agent (support , factory): late 1984–november 29, 1985
hutch hi-performance bmx/products: november 29, 1985–january 11, 1987. carter left hutch after aba cajun nationals , picked cw racing after aba supernationals after brief sponsorship on bicycle center.
bicycle center (bike shop): january 16, 1987–january 23, 1987. not sponsorship; merely wore jersey of local bike shop during aba s san bernardino, california race on january 17–18, 1987.
cw (custom works) cycles: january 23, 1987–december 31, 1987. cw never stood coast wheels, thought; coast wheels bike shop roger worsham owned. custom works different , independent company. in contrast jmc (jim melton cyclery), did start out bicycle shop , began manufacturing own bmx components, including entire bicycles.
revcore: january 1, 1988–april 1988. revcore owned roger worsham, same person owned cw racing. revcore different product line, aborted shadow racing (also owned roger worsham) in 1985. moved entire national cw racing team revcore @ beginning of 1988 racing season promotional move publicize revcore product line.
schwinn bicycle company: april 1988–december 1989. first race schwinn nbl peachtree national in peachtree, georgia on april 10, 1988. eric turn pro sponsor.

brackens racing: late july 1990–late 1992. eric take yearlong hiatus bmx after 1990 aba grand national , raced infrequently forestall burnout during 1991 season. first returning race 1991 aba fall nationals in yorba linda, california on october 26 , 27. got first place in pro on saturday, , second place in pro on sunday. however, shortly afterward, took yearlong (approximately) break race motorcycles , other things outside of bmx racing, again racing bmx infrequently. unbroken absence bmx racing more 2 years.
