nitrogen fertilizers

nitrogen fertilizers made ammonia (nh3), injected ground directly. ammonia produced haber-bosch process. in energy-intensive process, natural gas (ch4) supplies hydrogen, , nitrogen (n2) derived air. ammonia used feedstock other nitrogen fertilizers, such anhydrous ammonium nitrate (nh4no3) , urea (co(nh2)2).
