in 1999, first ever single, money stretch , included in next friday soundtrack. in 2000 lil zane released debut album young world: future featured smash single callin me . album debut @ #25 on billboard 200 300,000 copies sold in first week. album hit @ #4 on top r&b/hip-hop albums. in 2001 made appearance on hardball soundtrack on track of same name bow wow, lil wayne , sammie. later stated in interview working on album titled ain t on later decided change title big zane theory.

2003: big zane theory

in 2003 lil zane released second album, big zane theory it, formally changed stage name lil’ zane zane. copeland explained zane real name, that’s name that’s on birth certificate , mom likes name changing name in ballerstatus.net interview. album failed match success of zane s previous album, charted @ #15 on billboard 200 s chart charted @ #10 on top r&b/hip-hop albums. single released on album tonite m yours peaked @ #8 on hot r&b/hip-hop songs. afterwards zane leave priority records due lack of financial compensation, artist support, , promotion go on 5-year hiatus music focus on acting career.

in 2010 made special appearance @ 10 year anniversary of 106 & park in los angeles ray j & tony marsley known ak. announced releasing mixtape entitled missing link , new single entitled put in lap . march 1, 2010 zane featured on world: next generation. song has gotten on 2,000,000 views on youtube alone. on march 8, 2011 zane released promo single off mixtape missing link volume 1 called must nice . on april 28, 2011 rumor circulated zane signed cash money records. later, statement proven false. on june 7, 2011 zane released new single called girl . on february 2, 2012 zane announced title of fourth album called world: future along release of single called sippin hennessy featuring tupac shakur. song has gotten on 100,000 views on youtube , 150,000 views on world star hip hop alone. on may 14, 2013 zane released new song called when home featuring young joe featured on mixtapes champagne & dirty sprite , r.a.w (raps women). on september 18, 2013 zane announced lead single off upcoming album called roof gone . of january 1, 2016 known zane working battle rapper, levi fresco, ghostwrite upcoming single ( don t spill liquor ) & album ( life live ).
