duke offers 46 arts , sciences majors, 4 engineering majors, 52 minors (including 2 in engineering) , program ii, allows students design own interdisciplinary major in arts & sciences, , ideas, allows students design own engineering major. twenty-four certificate programs available. students pursue major, , can pursue combination of total of 3 including minors, certificates, and/or second major. eighty-five percent of undergraduates enroll in trinity college of arts , sciences, while rest in pratt school of engineering.

pratt s curriculum narrower in scope, still accommodates double majors in variety of disciplines. school emphasizes undergraduate research—opportunities hands-on experiences arise through internships, fellowship programs, , structured curriculum. more 27 percent of pratt undergraduates study abroad, small compared half of trinity undergraduates, larger recent national average engineering students (3.2%).
