baron robert de domecy (1867–1946) commissioned artist odilon redon in 1899 create 17 decorative panels dining room. commissioned redon portraits of wife , daughter jeanne, 2 of in collections of musée d orsay , getty museum in california. of paintings remained in family collection until 1960s. fifteen of panels located today in musée d orsay, entered museum in 1988.
