his technique depended on modelling life directly in clay, making many small studies no preliminary drawings. produced works in clay (often fired terracotta), plaster, , stone, of finished works cast bronze, @ morris singer art foundry or @ burleighfield art foundry (now merged).


his house , studio, pleasant land, remained closed 17 years after death. reopened in 2003 museum of life s work, exhibiting many studies , models finished works. houses archive of papers. other papers, relating sculptures of winston churchill , margaret thatcher, held churchill archives centre in cambridge.
