organizations

in september 1991 bratska political association of macedonian in albania (bpama) established. other macedonian organizations include macedonian alliance european integration, macedonian society ilinden tirana, prespa, mir (peace), bratstvo (brotherhood) , med (macedonian aegean society). ethnic macedonian organization claim 120.000 350,000 macedonians live in albania.


in march 2012, macedonians in golo brdo formed (macedonian bridge ). organisation s president, besnik hasani said group s goal fighting recognition of macedonians in golo brdo albanian state , introduction of macedonian language in schools... also, our task prevent bulgarian propaganda , efforts of bulgaria bulgarisation of macedonians in golo brdo.


political parties

the macedonians in albanian represented macedonian alliance european integration (macedonian: Македонска Алијанса за Европска Интеграција, makedonska alijansa za evropska integracija). in 2007 edmond temelko elected position of mayor of pustec, , reelected position in 2011, in party received ~2,500 votes. edmond osmani narrowly missed out being elected mayor of trebište, 5 macedonian counsellors elected in pustec, 3 in trebisht, 2 in bilisht , in pirg.


at present there no macedonian in albanian parliament. many of local government representatives macedonian. mayor of pustec edmond vangjel themelko according 2007 local elections. macedonian. there macedonians represented in districts of zvezda , gorna gorica.


media
radio

the local radio of korçë broadcasts fote nikola (macedonian: Фоте Никола) program comprises news bulletins , songs in macedonian macedonian minority in albania half hour each day. on november 7, 2002 first private macedonian-language radio station set up. known radio prespa .


television

the local tv station has released programs republic of macedonia. in november, 2010, first macedonian television station, television kristal (macedonian: Телевизија Кристал, televisija kristal), officially launched.


print media

numerous forms of macedonian language print media serve needs of macedonians living in albania. in 1990s first macedonian language periodical known mir (peace) emerged. later still newspaper prespa (macedonian: Преспа, prespa), began pubslished macedonians living in mala prespa region. macedonian newspaper ilinden launched in april, 2011, macedonians living in tirana.
