until december 2014, kxjb call sign , cbs affiliation used on broadcast license presently associated krdk-tv.


kxjb co-owned kx television network in western north dakota 1959 1971. station never changed network affiliation until late 2014, when major market broadcasting purchased station. cbs carried grand forks newscasts , commercials on kxjc-lp, channel 35, semi-satellite of kxjb, 2000 until license station canceled in april 2003, due kvly-tv taking on operations of original kxjb.


when kxjb-tv signed off air @ 12 midnight ct on december 1, 2014, cbs programming continued available on kvly-dt2, hence making kvly-dt2 sole cbs affiliate in area. kvly-dt2 retained original kx4 branding of original cbs affiliate. kxjb sold major market broadcasting on december 18 of year. channel 4 returned air on january 13, 2015 krdk-tv, affiliate of multiple multi-cast networks, including cozi tv on main subchannel, , locally operated bek sports, featuring local high school sports coverage in area, on krdk-dt2 , in primetime on main subchannel. of krdk s other 8 subchannels provide programming various classic tv , movie networks.
