in june 2008 wales hosted 2008 irb junior world championship. fiji lost of pool matches, going down england 41-17 losing australia 53-17 before going down in close match against canada 10-17. in 13th-16th places playoffs, fiji beat usa before going down tonga , finishing 14th overall out of 16.


2009

in june 2009, japan hosted 2009 irb junior world championship. fiji lost first 2 matches against south africa (36-10) , france (48-25) before defeating italy 20-14 tries ledua , matawalu. fiji lost out scotland in semi final play offs , losing argentina in 11th place play off , finished overall @ 12th position , due 12th finish, qualified next championship in 2010 reduced 12 teams.


2010

in june 2010, argentina hosted 2010 irb junior world championship. fiji played first game against 2 times winners new zealand going down 44-11 tries christopher nasiganyavi , 2 penalties josh matavesi. thumped 31-13 wales accounted samoa beating them 15-12. in 5th place play-off, fiji beaten 44-9 france before losing wales again in 7th place play off 39-15 , finishing 8th overall.


2011

in june 2011, italy hosted 2011 irb junior world championship. fiji played first game against france losing 24-12 before getting thrashed 50-25 australia. fiji went on beat tonga 36-18. in 5th-8th place play-off, fiji thrashed wales 34-20 before getting thrashed south africa 104-17 scored 14 tries 2. after loss, fiji finished @ best ever position of 6th.
