january 20, 1985 – robert latta, gained access white house following 33 members of marine band past security. while carrying overnight bag, able wander around executive residence 14 minutes apprehended secret service agents.
november 24, 2009 – carlos allen, michaele salahi , tareq salahi, showed uninvited state dinner indian prime minister manmohan singh.
september 19, 2014 – omar gonzalez, 2014 white house intrusion jumped fence pennsylvania avenue side of white house , entered through north portico doors. upon entering overpowered secret service officer , ran through of main floor before tackled counter-assault agent.

february 17, 1974 – robert k. preston, hovered stolen helicopter above grounds , forced land. unknown if planned enter residence.
november 26, 1975 1976 – gerald b. gainous climbed white house fence 4 times on period of year during ford administration. @ 1 point gained access grounds approached susan ford before being arrested.
july 27, 1976 – chester plummer, scaled white house fence, armed piece of pipe. while advancing towards white house, ordered stop secret service officer. after ignoring order, shot rookie officer, , died later in hospital wounds , first known shooting victim on white house grounds.
october 4, 1978 – anthony henry, dressed in white karate outfit made way onto white house lawn armed knives , arrested after being clubbed , gang tackled police.
august 21, 1986 – rosita bourbon, scaled northeast fence of white house makeshift ladder , arrested shortly afterwards.
november 21, 1987 – mike davis, unarmed man scaled white house fence , made near foot of stairway leads west wing president reagan s office before being arrested.
september 12, 1994 – frank eugene corder, crashed stolen cessna 150 onto south lawn of white house, apparently trying hit building. person killed in incident.
may 24, 1995 – leland william modjeski, wearing business suit , carrying unloaded .38-caliber revolver, shot on white house grounds after scaling fence. authorities doubted intended harm president , appeared have psychiatric problems.
december 4, 2005 – shawn a. cox, of mammoth spring, arkansas, captured secret service agents after scaling white house fence. cox believed chelsea clinton still lived @ white house , destined marry . cox sent st. elizabeth s psychiatric hospital; court-ordered psychiatric report found grossly psychotic , manic .
february–april 2006 – brian lee patterson, jumped white house fence total of 4 times.
october 13, 2006 – alexis janicki, 24, of independence, missouri, iraq war veteran suffering ptsd, arrested after climbing on fence while in possession of marijuana.
march 16, 2007 – catalino lucas diaz, scaled fence package , threatened officers had bomb. catalino arrested after determining had no dangerous weapon.
june 9, 2009 – pamela morgan, jumped fence onto northeast corner of grounds while carrying backpack. morgan arrested , backpack later searched , found contain nothing dangerous.
march 30, 2014 – unidentified male, caught , arrested after climbing on fence.
august 7, 2014 – unknown toddler squeezed through fence, , returned parents.
september 11, 2014 – jeffrey grossman, 26, of rensselaer, new york, scaled fence , entered north lawn while carrying pikachu doll , wearing pikachu hat; apprehended secret service agents. grossman did not intend inflict harm; suffered schizophrenia. after being arrested, taken george washington university hospital mental health observation.
october 22, 2014 – dominic adesanya, formerly of bel air, maryland, jumped fence onto north lawn , taken down 2 security dogs while punching , kicking them before being arrested secret service. later ordered judge mental health facility. adesanya, had twice jumped white house fence in july 2014, pleaded guilty in april 2015 entering or remaining in restricted building or grounds , sentenced in july 2015 time served , 1 year of supervised release. adesanya s lawyer said suffered schizophrenia.
november 26, 2015 – joseph anthony caputo, 22, of stamford, connecticut, arrested secret service agents after jumping on white house fence first family inside celebrating thanksgiving. caputo had left suicide note , , apparently had intended die. in plea agreement prosecutors, caputo pleaded guilty 1 federal misdemeanor count of illegal entry of restricted grounds in deal prosecutor , sentenced 3 years probation various conditions.
march 10, 2017 – man carrying backpack, later identified jonathan tuan tran, 26, of milpitas, california, arrested after jumping white house fence, coming within steps of mansion. court papers charged tran entering or remaining in restricted grounds while using or carrying dangerous weapon , stated had 2 cans of mace in possession @ time of incident.
october 18, 2017 - curtis combs, 36, of somerset, kentucky, jumped concrete barrier on outer perimeter of south grounds of white house complex , arrested. dressed in pikachu suit.

non-trespassing incidents

february 1974 – samuel byck, planned hijack plane , fly white house in assassination attempt. wounded 2 rounds penetrated aircraft door s window, committed suicide shooting himself in head before police enter aircraft.
december 25, 1974 – marshall h. fields crashed chevrolet impala northwest gate of white house complex , surrendered after negotiations without making front door.
december 1, 1976 – steven b. williams, tried unsuccessfully crash truck through reinforced steel gates (strengthened after marshall fields incident) , arrested.
march 3, 1984 – david mahonski, after being warned stay away white house making threats against president, noticed in front of south grounds of white house security agents approached him. pulled sawed-off shotgun beneath coat, , 1 of agents shot him in arm revolver. subsequently arrested.
march 15, 1985 – chester ramsey, caught , arrested secret service agents while trying climb on fence.
october 29, 1994 – francisco martin duran, took semi-automatic rifle , fired 29 rounds @ white house before being tackled ground , arrested.
february 8, 2001 – robert w. pickett, of evansville, indiana, accountant had been fired irs thirteen years earlier, fired shots outside white house fence , shot in knee , arrested secret service agents. police subsequently found suicide letter commissioner of internal revenue.
november 11, 2011 – oscar ramiro ortega-hernandez taken custody in indiana, pennsylvania (near pittsburgh, pennsylvania) in connection bullets fired near white house- @ least 2 of impacted- on constitution avenue, nw (near ellipse , closed washington monument), @ least 1 of stopped bullet-proof glass, other having hit exterior; unknown whether white house target or involved – president , first lady in hawaii apec summit meeting @ time. suspect seen fleeing virginia 23rd street, nw, entrance theodore roosevelt bridge abandoned car left near there.
june 9, 2013 – joseph clifford reel, caused driverless jeep speed down pennsylvania avenue , crash gate diversion spray paint side of white house. reel arrested in north courtyard , sentenced 3 years in prison.
march 2, 2015 – unidentified man dressed in construction suit tried enter white house grounds through gate @ pennsylvania avenue near east executive avenue in morning. stopped uniformed division officers , taken custody.
may 20, 2016 – 2016 white house shooting occurred when jesse olivieri attacked white house security checkpoint. secret service shot , arrested him. after incident, secret service authorities closed white house 45 minutes , blocked nearby streets. primary investigations showed there no connection terrorists.
march 18, 2017 – man, yet identified, jumped on bicycle rack on pennsylvania avenue, , subsequently arrested.
