the shenandoah circuit 22-turn, 2.2-mile (3.5 km) road course first opened in 2004. considered 1 of technical circuits of recent crop of race courses, shenandoah boasts smaller scale replica of nürburgring-nordschleife s famous banked karussell turn. s known concrete jungle.


since opening in late 2004, shenandoah has played host number of high-performance driver education clinics, handful of road races , number of motorcycle races. after number of races , schools, minor changes made track layout in late 2004 , 2005, including addition of straight between turns 5 , 7.
