Entering the public domain in Australia 2018 in public domain

in 2004 copyright in australia changed plus 50 law plus 70 law, in line america , european union. change not made retroactive (unlike 1995 change in european union bought e.g. british authors copyright). hence work of author died before 1955 in public domain in australia; copyright of authors extended 70 years after death died in 1955 or later, , no more australian authors come out of copyright until 1 january 2026 (those died in 1955).
